Within the span of only two months, Christopher Moonjian lost both of his parents, Donald and Marlene Moonjian, to serious illness. Prior to their passing, Christopher was their primary caregiver. Carrying the emotional and physical responsibility of caring for two critically ill parents, followed by losing them both so suddenly, is devastating for anyone.

For Christopher, whose challenges limit his ability to navigate life independently, the impact has been overwhelming.

He is now facing life without the parents who loved him, supported him, and helped him manage day to day realities. He is grieving deeply while also trying to survive financially. Christopher works various shifts at a job in Knoxville, Tennessee, and is doing everything he can to stay afloat, but his hours are currently limited and his resources are few. Basic living expenses have become a daily source of stress at a time when he should be allowed the space to grieve and begin healing.
