Please consider helping the family of our beloved Head Cook, Chris Cyr, who tragically lost his life in a fatal car accident.

Chris and his wife Jenna are parents to 3 school-aged children, and they certainly will need a lot of help to get through this unimaginably difficult time.

Our work family here at Kamuda's is devastated, as he was such a dedicated, caring, talented, and thoughtful person.

To share what kind of person he was, each Thanksgiving he would volunteer at his church to cook and prepare the holiday meals for nearly 100 people.

Throughout this year, he was dealing with significant health issues in his legs, and he refused to let that limit him or stop the mission of feeding our community. He was determined and resilient at work and in his personal life.

Chris had a passion for serving our customers and providing delicious dishes. His combination of love for cooking and incredible skill for preparing large quantities and multiple simultaneous orders helped us grow to become the catering leader that we are today. Chris led the team that produced all of our in-store meals and catered events last year.

He loved his family, and we will miss his presence as a leader and mentor to our kitchen staff and to myself.

We want to help his family as much as we can through the combined help of our community.
