Hi everyone this is a very difficult and stressful moment for my family. My mom Catalina had a cerebral stroke last night. She is currently in Neuro ICU getting treatment. Due do the location of the stroke there is damage preventing signals from her brain to the right side of her face and muscles making her unable to swallow leading to have a feeding tube inserted. We are taking it day by day, there is no estimated time of recovery or improvement if any. We are staying hopeful and positive. Currently I am caring for my siblings and doing my best with any financial costs. If anyone is willing or able to help donate for her medical expenses and her treatment we are eternally grateful. Hola a todos. Este es un momento muy difícil y estresante para mi familia. Mi mamá Catalina; sufrió un derrame cerebral anoche. Actualmente se encuentra recibiendo tratamiento en la Unidad de Cuidados Intensivos (UCI) de neurología. Debido a la ubicación del derrame, hay daños que impiden la transmisión de señales desde el cerebro hacia el lado derecho de la cara y los músculos; esto le impide tragar, por lo que ha sido necesario colocarle una sonda de alimentación. Vamos día a día y no hay un tiempo estimado de recuperación o mejoría, si es que la hay. Mantenemos la esperanza y una actitud positiva. Actualmente estoy cuidando a mis hermanos y haciendo todo lo posible para cubrir los gastos económicos. Si alguien desea o puede ayudar con una donación para los gastos médicos y su tratamiento, estaremos eternamente agradecidos.
