Our comrade Lady I, a Black trans woman, needs our community support!
Lady I just came home from Rikers, and when she was released she broke her hip. She is recovering from hip surgery and from an ulcer that worsened while she was locked up, and she needs our support as she recovers and learns to walk again. We want to make sure she’s able to access all of the ongoing holistic care she needs, from physical therapy and other recovery support to paying for new clothes and food and housing.
