Many of you know Austyn as our favorite bartender—tough as nails and always full of spirit. Recently, Austyn faced a severe health battle that began with a meningitis diagnosis at the end of July. While in the hospital, doctors discovered a blood clot in her brain, which brought about a range of debilitating symptoms and made it impossible for her to work. Despite the odds, Austyn fought hard and has been on the road to recovery.

Austyn is not just a dedicated mother, wife, sister, cousin, and teacher; she is also a vital part of our community, passionate about her family and her career. However, the combined costs of her medical treatment, living expenses, and supporting her family have become overwhelming. The road ahead involves more doctor appointments and ongoing recovery.

To support her through this challenging time, we are hosting a benefit in her honor on September 14th at Tuffy’s! There will be food, darts, horseshoes, live and silent auctions, and karaoke to follow.
