No family ever expects to hear that their child has a stage 4 brain tumour. This is the reality now facing Annalise Donelon ( Annie ) and those who love her!

I'm Claire and I'm co-organsing this fundraiser for Annalise, the daughter of one of my closest lifelong friends, Lisa . Annalise was diagnosed in October 2025 with a stage 4 brain tumour.

Annalise is just 20 years old and has grown up in Manchester alongside her loving family, including her two younger sisters. Until recently, she was studying at Newcastle University and looking ahead to her future. Following her diagnosis, she has returned home to be with her family and to focus on treatment.

In a very short space of time, Annalise and her family have had to face the reality of this life-changing diagnosis. She has already undergone major surgery and completed radiotherapy with great courage and determination and we are all thankful that currently Annie is doing well. While these treatments have been vital, further specialist therapies — including targeted molecular treatments and immunotherapy — may allow access to advanced specialist treatments. Unfortunately, these options are not currently funded by the NHS and involve significant personal expense, including treatment, travel, and medical costs.

Annalise's family and friends are doing everything they can to support her through this incredibly difficult time. This fundraiser has been created to help give Annalise access to the best possible treatment options and to ease some of the financial pressure on her family, so their focus can remain entirely on her care and recovery.

We kindly ask that Annalise & her two younger sisters privacy are respected during this time. Whilst your support means so much, we respectfully request that Annalise (or her sisters) is not contacted directly, so she can focus fully on her treatment and being around her family & friends. All funds raised will go directly towards Annalise's treatment and related expenses. Any donation, no matter the size, or sharing this page, would mean a great deal to Annalise and her family.
