Meet Amir Ismail — A Voice of Hope from Gaza Many of you know our beloved brother Amir through his YouTube channel, where he shares life under siege in Gaza. His honest reporting has touched hearts around the world, offering a rare window into the daily struggles and resilience of his people. But Amir is more than a Witness. At just 18, he has spent the past year caring for orphaned and vulnerable children, supporting displaced neighbours and helping his community survive amid unimaginable hardship. Whether documenting daily life under bombardment or quietly delivering food to families in need, Amir has become a powerful voice — and a lifeline — for those around him. This campaign was inspired by Amir’s remarkable courage and selflessness. Even as his own home was bombed and his life threatened, he put the needs of others before his own. Now, he needs us. ⸻ ❤️‍ Why Amir Needs Urgent Help Now Last week, Amir was severely injured in an Israeli airstrike. Shards of glass tore through his right hand and forearm, causing deep lacerations, suspected severing of flexor tendons, and embedded foreign objects. Without urgent surgery and rehabilitation abroad — which cannot be provided in Gaza due to lack of equipment and resources — Amir faces permanent loss of function in his dominant hand, or worse.
