Who are we? Martin and Liz Vaughan - parents, educators, professionals and dreamers.

We fundamentally believe that children are much more capable than we give them credit. We believe each learner has the potential to take a Hero’s Journey and find their gifting that can change the world. Armed with this belief, we have set out on our own Hero’s Journey and opened AWE Academy where children can learn through innovative means, foster a love of learning and be better equipped for the future.

The Hero’s Journey is a road filled with challenges, successes, failures, character development, growth, community, collaboration, resilience, and eventual victory. In the same way, our learners are encouraged to be courageous and resilient as they learn to be a life long learner and learn to find their voice.

We are excited to be an Acton Affiliate school comprised of almost 400 schools world wide which grew out of the original Acton Academy founded in Austin Texas by Jeff and Laura Sandefer. Join us on this exciting journey as you partner with us to develop the next generation of leaders.

Funds will be used to cover the costs of our literacy and mathematics programs, learning software, classroom technology, office expenses and general operational expenses as we get this venture off the ground.
