Not long ago, my world turned upside down. I was blindsided by a diagnosis no one ever wants to hear: Stage 4B cervical cancer. It’s spread — to my abdominal lymph nodes, mediastinum, mammary chain, neck, trachea, and even my voice box.
Every breath, every word I speak, carries the weight of that fight. But I’m still here. Still laughing when I can. Still showing up for every treatment, every scan, every new challenge this journey throws at me.
Why I Need Your Help:
For most of my life, I’ve been fiercely independent — the kind of woman who’d rather figure it out than ask for help. But cancer doesn’t care about pride, and this battle has taken everything out of me — emotionally, physically, and financially.
Chemotherapy alone costs $45,000 every 21 days. Even with insurance, there’s so much that isn’t covered — medications, medical supplies, transportation, and all the “little things” that add up faster than I can keep up with.
I’m also unable to work right now because, well, between the side effects, the endless doctor visits, and the random new medical surprises (there’s always a new one!), full-time fighting is my job for the moment.
Your donation will help cover:
— Medical bills and life-sustaining medications not covered by insurance
—Living expenses during treatment — including my $500 monthly RV site, my small sanctuary of peace
—Daily necessities that keep me going when my energy and body can’t.
My Goal:
More Time, More Memories My dream isn’t fancy. I just want time — time to make more memories with my kids and grandkids, time to laugh until it hurts, time to sit around the table and tell stories like we always do. I want to see my grandbabies grow up, graduate, fall in love, chase dreams, and maybe — if I’m lucky — tell them embarrassing Nana stories when they bring someone home for the first time.
No donation is too small. Whether it’s $5 or $500, every dollar helps me keep fighting. If you can’t give financially, please share this campaign, say a prayer, or send a little love my way. Every bit of kindness matters more than you know.
From the bottom of my heart — thank you. For reading this. For caring. For believing that hope still matters.
With all my love and gratitude,
AJ
