Suchitoto is a small and tranquil community in El Salvador, which was ravaged by a civil war in the 80'and where countless lives where lost. Though it has progressed in many ways, some basic needs in this town have been neglected.
This coming October, a group of Christian volunteers from the Lakeland SDA church is determined to make a difference in the lives of hundreds of residents in Suchitoto by providing dental care, health and hygiene education, crafts and fun activities for children through VBS, but above all, bringing the great news of the soon return of our Lord Jesus Christ through organized evangelism in coordination with the "It Is Written" Ministry.
Many of our volunteers are students with limited financial resources who are raising money to go on this mission trip. They are doing their part by organizing and participating in fundraising activities such as car washes, yard sales, work-a-thons, food sale, etc.
Your tax deductible donation will be used to purchase VBS, dental and medical supplies, teaching materials, and make it possible for these volunteers to travel to EL Salvador and make a difference for eternity.
