I am raising money to go on an expedition to the Arctic with Sir Robert Swan, polar explorer, and a team of global warming scientists. Upon our return I will facilitate and enable student voice through my current students delivering a virtual Arctic conference, an extension of the first ever Virtual Antarctica Conference I delivered in 2005 with 1800 students attending virtually. The Virtual Arctic Conference will be open to students globally.
This is an opportunity to enable students who couldn't attend the strike, for whatever reason, to also have a voice on the critical issue of global warming.
The funds are to pay for the expedition to the Arctic and to fund technologies required to facilitate the Virtual Arctic Conference, connecting passionate students around the globe, designed and delivered by my current students.
In order to confirm my place on this expedition I need the funds by April 30th 2019.
As when I returned from Antarctica, I will return with rich experiences and resources I will continue to share with; students, educators, corporate and government organisations.
