Happy Holidays, and please take a moment to read my story. My name is Jennifer Jones, and I’m reaching out during one of the hardest times in my life—a time when asking for help feels both necessary and incredibly humbling.

I live in Bradenton, Florida, and like so many others, my life was upended by the three hurricanes that came through this year. I lost my job as a waitress on the island due to severe flooding. After weeks of searching, I finally found work as a debris monitor, but on my first day, I was involved in a serious car accident. My car was totaled, and with no way to afford the high deductible, I’ve been left without transportation, which has made it nearly impossible to work or get to medical appointments.

While the hurricanes and job loss were devastating, they are only part of my story. Recently, I’ve been facing significant and terrifying medical challenges. It began with swelling in my hands, ankles, and legs. Multiple rounds of blood tests, imaging scans, and doctor visits revealed alarming markers, leading my primary care doctor to suspect bone cancer, lupus, or another autoimmune disease. I was referred to the Florida Cancer Center, where further testing is being done. There’s even discussion of a potential bone marrow biopsy.

The truth is, I’m scared. Between mounting medical bills, uncertainty about my health, and the loss of my independence without a vehicle, I’m overwhelmed. My family has done everything they can to support me, but they have their own challenges. My mom, has been my rock, but is getting older, and can only do so much, and my sister has tried to help while also caring for her own family. Despite their love and support, it’s not enough to meet the growing financial demands I’m facing.

I need help. Your generosity could change my life in ways I can’t even express. Donations will go toward:

Medical expenses for ongoing tests, treatments, and appointments.
$5000

Basic needs like rent, food, and utilities.
$2000

Transportation so I can get to my appointments and regain some independence.
$3000

If you’re unable to donate, please consider sharing my story on social media or with others who may be able to help. Every dollar and every share makes a difference.

Thank you for taking the time to read my story, for your kindness, and for your prayers. I hope you and your family have a healthy, happy Thanksgiving.

With gratitude,
Jennifer
