Stormy & Vals Hurricane Irma Relief

On September 9, 2017 Stormy and Val McCall evacuated from their home in Big Pine Key as category 5 Irma was bearing down on the Florida Keys. After days of anxiously waiting, the first photos of their house were found on the NOAA.gov website. They sadly discovered that their home had been destroyed.


Heartbroken they've returned to the Keys to survey the damage and try to start picking up the pieces. They have lost almost everything.


As with most residents of the Keys, their jobs rely on tourism. It will be some time before they can go back to work. With no jobs and no place to call home, Stormy & Val are desparate for your help.


9/20/17 - Stormy & Val have been working all day trying to pick up the pieces and recover from the destruction that Hurricane Irma caused to their home. It is going to be a long and slow process.

Despite losing almost everything Val and Stormy are staying strong and in faith. They have expressed their gratitude for all the assistance and support they are receiving from friends and strangers alike.  They have a long road ahead of them.
