Storm's MRI and Vets Bills

Storm is an 11 week old kitten who joined myself and Lulu kitty on Dec 18th 2015.

Initially Storm appeared healthy despite a suspected ear infection which affected his balance and vision. Sadly, after 6 visits to the vet in just over a week, it has become apparent that he is in fact blind in his left eye and only partially sighted in his right eye. The vet has diagnosed brain damage, which is possibly degenerative.

Storm also suffers from severe gastrointestinal problems. Tests have ruled out infection and parasites and now suspects that the cause may be neurological. To find out the extent of the brain damage he will need an MRI scan.

Storm is insured with Animal Friends, unfortunately because he has presented symptoms within the cooling off period of 14 days none of his vet bills are covered. 

I have no possible way of knowing when if Storm will improve, but this way at the very least he's being given a fighting chance.
