Help David Avoid Eviction
Donation protected
URGENT!
Dear Family, Friends and Neighbors:
(Campaign will still be in effect until November 10. They are negotiating with me!)
Last year I was laid of from my job at a non-profit and still have not been able to secure a permanent position.
My unemployment benefits have run out. I have applied for literally hundreds of jobs, to no avail. Consequently, I am way behind on rent and am resorting to asking any of you who can afford it to donate (or failing that, loan me money. I am doing dog/house-sitting gigs and temp work and had a few interviews, but nothing yet. I am hoping a seasonal job will come through as well.
I didn't want to have to ask for help, but I've gone too long without at least trying this. Rental assistance is very difficult to get, if you can even get an appointment.
I need to pay the landlord $3100, by October 31st or it is likely I will be evicted, I have put $3500 as the ultimate goal due to fees charged on here. I think I could come up with November's rent, so long as I keep working in some capacity.
Any permanent job leads would be appreciated as well.
Thank you for your friendship, time and consideration.
Hugs,
David
