The United Arab Emirates (UAE) - or you might know it as Dubai- has been supporting a genocidal militia called the Rapid Support Forces RSF in Sudan. RSF has been committing genocide against the Sudanese people. We want to organize a massive campaign to pressure the US Congress to designate the RSF as a terrorist organization. Please help us!

I am Mahmoud Elmutasim, a Sudanese living in the United States. I live in California. I plan to use the funds I raise as explained in the project details below.

The Goal:

This campaign goal is to get enough US citizens and permanent residents to contact their senators and representatives to ask them to designate the RSF as a terrorist organization, so enough pressure is placed on them to make the right decision.

Details of the project:

Phase One:

Campaign to Designate the RSF as a Terrorist Organization

Objectives:

1. Playing a Methodical and Organized Role in shaping American public opinion against the Emirati project in Sudan and against the Rapid Support Forces.

2. Systematic Pressure on the U.S. Congress to designate the Rapid Support Forces as a terrorist organization.

Campaign Tools:

1. Public demonstrations and mobilization through petition signatures.

2. Production of media content in the form of videos.

3. Distribution of posters, cards, yard signs, and car stickers, et,c carrying slogans such as:

“Stop Sudan Genocide, Stop the UAE”

“The UAE and RSF are Killing Sudan”

"RSF is a terrorist group."

Along with QR codes that direct people to sign petitions and learn more about Sudan.

4. Providing Sudanese communities with congressional contact information to encourage them to communicate with their representatives.

5. Designing a dedicated website to document the RSF atrocities and expose Emirati complicity, and provide proposed tools for mobilization against the UAE using all recognized peaceful means.

Fundraising Campaign and Expenditures

Objectives of the Fundraising Campaign:

1. Financing the expenses and tools outlined above and detailed below.

2. Enabling participation by busy Sudanese individuals (those working long hours) through financial contributions, allowing them to engage in the national project even if time-constrained.

3. Using the donor database as a foundational database for building the Sudan National Sovereignty Movement, facilitating networking, announcements, and future collective action. (If the individuals willingly shared their information with us, of course).

Estimated Expenses (Initial Phase – assuming one unit of each item):

Professional design 5–10 different designs (posters for mosques, universities, cards, banners, home signs, etc.): $250–$500

Poster stands (holders) 5 stands × $12 each $60

Poster printing (Staples Store) Large banner (3×6 ft), medium posters, large posters (3×4 ft), lawn signs, car stickers, 1,000 cards $424

Legal Aspects and Transparency

Fundraising and Accountability:

Donations will be collected via GoFundMe, with full disclosure of objectives and expenditures, and a separate bank account established for the campaign to prevent personal use and ensure accountability as an individual organizer.

Financial Transparency:

Receipts will be uploaded, and periodic financial reports will be published on the campaign website (on GoFundMe) for donors to monitor expenditures.

Registration and Taxation:

Registration is not currently required because the campaign is small and does not engage in electoral political influence; it focuses on issue-based advocacy. Tax obligations apply to the individual organizer as required by law.

Donor Responsibility:

Campaign objectives and spending categories are clearly stated here, making donors responsible for supporting these lawful objectives. Any misuse of funds outside declared purposes would be the responsibility of the individual organizer.

Disclaimer:

التظاهرات العامة والحشد من خلال توقيع العرائض.

إنتاج محتوى إعلامي على شكل مقاطع فيديو.

توزيع ملصقات، وبطاقات، ولافتات للحدائق الأمامية، وملصقات للسيارات، وغيرها، تحمل شعارات مثل:

“أوقفوا إبادة السودان، أوقفوا الإمارات”

“الإمارات وقوات الدعم السريع يقتلون السودان”

"قوات الدعم السريع منظمة إرهابية"

إلى جانب (كيو أر كود) يوجه الناس لتوقيع العرائض ومعرفة المزيد عن السودان.

تزويد المجتمعات السودانية بمعلومات التواصل مع أعضاء الكونغرس لتشجيعهم على التواصل مع ممثليهم.

تصميم موقع إلكتروني مخصص لتوثيق فظائع قوات الدعم السريع وكشف التواطؤ الإماراتي، وتوفير أدوات مقترحة للحشد ضد الإمارات باستخدام جميع الوسائل السلمية المعترف بها.
