Replacing our stolen livelihood

For those of you who know me, you know that I am a proud man who prides himself in being able to do anything I put my mind to. Asking for help is something I’m not always comfortable with, especially when it comes to money.

For those of you who don't know me, or are just getting to know me, here is a little bit about me. My name is George Bravo. I am the father of twin four year old daughters and a two year old son. I am also married to the most amazing, supportive, and just as crazy wife, Amanda Bravo. My family is everything to me. I am a General Contractor and the sole provider for our family.

My ability to provide for my family relies on a few things: mostly, these three things - my health, my knowledge and my tools. Without any one of those three things, I am out of a job. On Thursday May 7th 2015 at 5:15AM someone took one of those away from me, and for all intents and purposes, made me instantly unable to work. We have scoured Craigslist and the flea market with no results. I have gone to every business on the route the thieves took to look over their surveillance cameras. The images and video provided within this post are all we’ve gotten, and it’s not nearly enough to help track them down.

My trailer was parked in the driveway of a client’s home in San Jose on a street in the neighborhood located near Bascom Av. and Moorpark Av. Inside that trailer was every tool I own. The value of the tools inside peaks just over 65,000.00 including the trailer. The loss of my tools is a devastating blow. Without them, I am unable to work and unable to provide for my family. Our insurances don't cover the loss and I am left with the humbling experience of reaching out for help from anyone who can. This is by far the most devastating event we have ever encountered. If you or someone you know is able to help us replenish our tools and our trailer - it means everything to us and there are no words for our appreciation.

Here is what the money will do:
*New tools (everything you need to build a house, every tool for every trade needed to build a house was stolen)
*Miscellaneous construction supplies
*New trailer
*GPS locating device for the trailer
*Anti-theft device for the trailer that alerts me upon movement of the trailer
Until we are successful at replacing the tools, we are lost.

Thank you for taking the time to read our story, please share with anyone and everyone.
Thank you,
George and Amanda Bravo
