You know her by many names: InvinciGirl, Warrior Girl, I Am the Storm, Katie, and based on her skill with words who knows if she has another nom de guerre (one can hope!).  But you also know that she is in the throes of battle with Acute Myeloid Leukemia. The AML was dormant for nearly a year after months of treatment and countless setbacks and ultimately a stem cell transplant before AML issued a new assault.  But this invincible girl, this brilliant woman, IS a warrior and the battle continues on.

You also know her family.  One of them may have literally brought you into this world. One of them may have made those angst filled pre-adolescent and adolescent years a whole lot easier. You may have gone running, riding, skating, beer-drinking, guitar playing, cat-watching, weather-watching, philosophizing, or reading with one of them.  And, you’ve laughed with them.  Laughed a lot!  You felt really heard and cared for.  And, then laughed some more.  The family surrounding this invincible girl, this brilliant warrior woman, is as tenacious, kind, and kindred as she is.  And they are fighting this battle...together. They are invincible and brilliant...together.
This Go Fund Me is intended to support the Stimac’s during whatever their battle entails. The next steps are difficult to predict because Katie's treatment plan changes and evolves as her body responds to each previous treatment and procedure.

As you know, the Stimac's are deeply appreciative and humbled by the love and support they receive from all their communities. In that vein, we are asking for all donations to be anonymous so they don't feel the need to personally thank each donor.
