Steve Gunther Memorial Fund
Donation protected
On February 5, 2017 we lost a wonderful man. Steve Gunther was a wonderful husband, a great father, son, brother, uncle, cousin and a true friend to many. Steve was a family man but he was also quite the outdoorsman. Anyone who knew Steve knew that being outdoors was where he was the happiest.
As we mourn our loss and extend our support to the Gunther family we ask for your financial contribution so that we may keep Steve's spirit alive and fund the following memorial expenses for the family.
Steve's wife, Dawn (Goldie), would like to place a memorial bench in Steve's honor at Barview Jetty Campground in Tillamook County, Oregon. Goldie describes Barview Jetty as "our favorite spot in the whole wide world" - it's the perfect place to honor Steve.
Additionally, Goldie would like a second memorial bench installed closer to their home at Mary S. Young State Park in West Linn where she and her dog Stanley enjoy their daily walks along the Willamette River. I can't think of a better way for Goldie to have a private, quiet and peaceful place where she can rest and reflect daily.
We need your help! We need your donations! Please contribute any amount that you can and help us to reach our goal!
All donations will be directed to Dawn Gunther and used to purchase and install the two memorial benches - any additional, unused funds are for Dawn Gunther to use at her sole discretion.
The Gunther family appreciates your support - thank you!
