There are certain people in this world who make the lives of others around them better, simply by walking in the room.  Steve Fernandez was one of these people.  A son.  A nephew.  A cousin.  A colleague.  And a friend to all.  We lost him far too soon.

Steve passed away tragically on September 5th, 2016 in a car accident, while vacationing in Louisiana.  His loss is an unexpected tragedy, and we are all poorer for no longer having him in our lives.

One thing we know about Steve, however, is that he would not want us to idly grieve.  He loved life, cherished new experiences, and dedicated himself to giving back to others.

In his memory, we ask you to do the same.

Steve was a loyal and passionate graduate of Bergen Catholic High School in New Jersey.  In his honor, we are creating The Steve Fernandez Memorial Scholarship to be awarded to the most deserving student at the end of each school year.  Steve would be proud to give back to his school and to know that his memory helped others to achieve their goals and live their lives to the fullest - as he lived his.
