Our friend Steve -- bass player, hockey goalie, graphic designer, amazing man -- suffered a stroke in late July. He made it through the initial trauma and an ICU stay and he’s now at a rehabilitation center where he’s working on building up his physical and cognitive skills. Steve has a long road ahead of him and while we’ve got an amazing support network of friends who are helping out, he will also have ongoing medical costs as he battles back from this.


This fund will go to Steve’s out-of-pocket medical expenses and with the next steps once he’s out of rehabilitation. We anticipate Steve’s living space will require adaptations and that he will need the assistance of medical professionals once he’s cleared to go home. 


Steve has been there for so many of us, and this is our chance to give back when he needs it most. He’s already made remarkable progress -- speaking, eating, even cracking jokes.
