Baby Sterlings' Hope Fund

Monday the 12th I was ambulanced to Abbott Hospital for bleeding. 

I was then admitted and it was found that there is an abruption in the placenta. Contractions were occurring from this. Baby has been handling them well, but the placenta is where baby and I share and exchange blood.

The bleeding stopped, I was to be discharged on the 16th, but more blood occurred and this changed rapidly.

I am on medication to stop labor and have been given medication  to help baby if he arrives early due to the aggravation the placenta is causing.

I am to be admitted until it is deemed safe for me to leave- but was just told it would be another week, minimum, of observation.

We have no idea what to expect, what is happening or when I will be able to be with my family and start working again.

I have support from my baby's Dad, Sam. He has been working and coming to see me as much as possible

I unfortunately started a new job about 2 months ago and have ZERO benefits. No PTO and no sick leave. 

Because we are so unsure about the time I'm going to spend here and the loss of income due to it.. we know that just losing one paycheck of mine can be detrimental. 

We are asking for any donations to help ease our stress during this time. Travel expenses, things to comfort me in my stay, bills needing to be paid during the time I cannot add income. 

I am hoping this next week proves great! I am hoping the bleeding seizes and that this baby boy will be able to make it to full term; the chances of him coming early and coming because of this abruption are very high.

I am staying positive but I am very worried about this situation and it's difficult to not be.
