Help Us End the Suffering of India’s Street Dogs
At Yogi Street Dog Rescue Society, we are on a mission to break the cycle of suffering for India’s millions of stray dogs through sterilization, vaccination, and compassionate care.
Every donation of $22 CAD sponsors the complete sterilization of one dog, covering trapping, transportation, surgery, post-operative care, and an anti-rabies vaccine. This simple yet life-saving procedure takes less than a week for full recovery and has been proven by veterinarians worldwide to offer significant health benefits.
Why Sterilization Matters
The overpopulation crisis is devastating:
A single female dog and her offspring can produce 67,000 puppies in just six years.
One unneutered male can impregnate up to 100 females each year.
Countless puppies never survive—many fall victim to traffic, poisoning, cruelty, or starvation.
India has an estimated 70 million stray dogs, struggling to survive in harsh conditions. With limited access to food, shelter, and medical care, many suffer immensely. The best way to help them is through population control—stopping the cycle before it begins.
Our Goal: 200 Sterilizations Per Month
We are committed to sponsoring 100 sterilizations each month, but we can’t do it without you. Your donation directly funds this critical work, preventing suffering and giving these innocent dogs a chance at a better life.
