Steph's Brain Tumor Surgery

Donation protected
So many people have asked what they can do to help me and Rich out! The only thing I can say is financially we have hit a bit of a tough spot.

Here is our story:

On June 16th 2016 our life changed forever!! I gave birth to a beautiful little boy named Isaiah :)!! The only problem was he was born way to early, 23 weeks 6 days and weighed only 1lb 5 ounces. He was 17 weeks early! We got amazing support with Isaiah through all the wonderful doctors and nurses and all our friends and family, so many people reached out! It was overwhelming,

Unfortunately, on July 8th our son passed away. He is our little hero, he fought so hard! He was just too early and wasn't able to continue with the struggle. We laid him to rest on 13 July 2016 in a simple small burial service for our precious little Isaiah  We were changed forever by Isaiah and we're doing our best to move on and find our our "new" normal.  We returned to work in August with heavy hearts.

On October 10th our life threw us for another loop. I had this terrible headache that went on for over a week. Headaches are normal for me but this one was ridiculous.! I went to my Doctor and an MRI was ordered.  I was diagnosed with a brain tumor and was told I needed surgery to remove it sooner rather than later! I had brain surgery on 2 Nov 2016 and we are  thankful the surgery went really well and I am not showing any symptoms or signs that the Doctor was concerned  with! Yay!! I'm kind of a rockstar.  The neurosurgeon was able to remove 80-90% of the tumor and the biopsy will determine the type of tumor and whether there is malignancy or not. We are patiently waiting for the results from pathology to figure out what the next step is going forward. This surgery is not a heal all and this is going to be a long recovery.

Unfortunately I used up my medical leave with Isaiah. So this is where we are asking for help. The recovery time is 4-6 weeks and I just don't have the leave time. We ask for help in our troubling time as I recover and our families figure out how to move forward. This is just an estimate of what we are thinking we might need.  We are grateful for any help no matter how small! Thank you in advance
