Unfortunately Stephen was the victim in a head on collision 6/19/2023, and is currently in the ICU. By the grace of his angels, he is alive alert and currently stable after emergency surgery to repair a torn intestine.
Stephen will have a very LOONG road to recovery, with A Lot of broken/fractured bones: nose, ribs, lower vertebrae in back, and his driving foot. He also has some serious internal bruising and was cut from ribs to pelvis for his surgery. The doctors will continue to test and image him to make sure nothing else comes up along the way, but he is suffering extreme pain plus not being able to have ANYTHING by mouth ie:food and water. Poor thing
As the amazing provider he is for his wife their little 7mo old son, the family could use some help especially once Stephen comes home!!! With flo taking care of the baby and Stephen full time they will really need help with meals (they are happy vegans), love,prayers, good vibes and of course any financial donation to help them stay afloat for the next at least 6months, so my brother can recover fully and in the way he needs, would be beyond helpful!
The good news is Stephen, Florence and the babe are surrounded by love, affection and support by the amazing humans they have allowed into their lives. They both are some of the best people I have the privilege to call my brother and sister and would love to facilitate anything for them so, come on friends, family and strangers!!!!
