Collection For Our Friend Stefan Nelson-Ewen

Hi everyone, my name is Chris, I am the assistant manager of the Crows Nest in Crosby. I am organising this collection on behalf of our friend Stefan who sadly passed away just before Christmas.

The funds raised will go towards funeral costs, and any remaining donations will be given to charity. One suggestion is the Mersey and West Lancashire Teaching Hospitals Trust. This would be fitting as Stef was a member of the NHS family at Southport and Formby District General Hospital. We are also looking at making a donation to the Nationwide Association of Blood Bikes, again this would be fitting due to Stefans love of Motorbikes, and a crucial service to help save lives.

Stefan was a true gentleman with a selfless heart, he constantly did everything to help others. Let's come together to ensure he receives the farewell he deserves.

Any contribution, no matter how small, would be greatfully appreciated. For Those of you who are able to make it, The funeral will be taking place on the 25th February 2025, 09:45 at Thornton Garden of Rest Crematorium (Lydiate Lane, L231TP). And then we will be going to Round Eight in Crosby (Cooks Road, L23 2TB) to celebrate his life.

*Edit* Hi guys, it's been just over 24 hours and we've raised over £800 already, I am genuinely stunned at the generosity of everyone. From the bottom of my heart thank you all so much. I know for certain Stefan would be astonished at how everyone has come together in his memory. I look forward to chatting to everyone who is able to come along to Round Eight after the service.
