Update 10/01 Happy October, everyone! I now have the vehicle... and just set up the insurance for it. Next step is registering it tomorrow, and then if enough comes in donations I will get the car winterized with new tires. Thank you again for your help!
OH.. and I hope you don't mind, I gave $100 of the donations to a dear friend in town to get oil change and wipers for her old car. As a single woman my age, she works so hard, at a minimum wage job, and it is barely enough for rent. Her son has been injured and has had surgery and cannot work. If there is more left over after the car is taken care of I will pass some on to her. Her name is Cheryl, and she has a heart of gold and always trying to help others.
Update: One of the reasons having working vehicle is so important for me is so I can wander the hills and valleys on occasion, finding beauty to come back and share with those who cannot get out there. This video I created last year has many of my photos of favorite places around Mount Adams in southern Washington, combined with peaceful music. Enjoy!

ORIGINAL POST BELOW:
Hey folks! Usually i am trying to find help for others, but this time I am reaching out for myself. Recently homeless, but with an apartment in the works, my new used 1998 suburu now has a blown head gasket. This car had just replaced my 1996 Nisson PU that died as i was moving out! Sigh....
the mechanic's assistant has a similar suburu with a head gasket and clutch recently replaced along with other fixit projects, for sale at reasonable price.
This is where I come to you for help. Much of my time in recent years has been running volunteer fire pages and sharing my photography to bring smiles to your hearts. If anyone finds themselves in a position to help, this is a good place to start!
Thank you in advance with all my heart!!
If you would like to help through Paypal which is most direct, go to my photo web blog at

ALSO I now have a PopMoney account for those who like to transfer from bank acount to bank account. They only take a small percentage, much better than GofundMe.
