Alexander Bell’s ALS Journey — A Life of Faith, Family & Service
My name is Alexander Bell. In March 2023, I was diagnosed with ALS, a progressive neurological disease that gradually affects muscle control and daily functioning. Since that day, life for my wife and me has changed in ways we never imagined.
ALS brings challenges no family can truly prepare for. The medical equipment, home modifications, specialized care, and daily living support required are overwhelming — both emotionally and financially. We are learning to adjust to a new normal, one day at a time.
We are asking for your help not out of despair, but out of hope.
Hope that we can focus on making meaningful memories instead of worrying about mounting expenses. Hope that I can continue this journey with comfort, dignity, and the care I need. Hope that our family can face each new day strengthened by the love and support of our community.
If I have impacted your life-through real estate, friendship, the Brotherhood of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., mentorship or simply a kind word, we humbly ask for your support, through a donation, a prayer or by sharing our story with others.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for being part of our journey.
-The Bell Family
