Jule Berryman has always been the person others could count on — strong, faithful, and full of life. The one who encourages everyone else, no matter what he’s going through.
Now, it’s our turn to show up for him.
This fundraiser is being organized by Jule’s support system on his behalf — because asking for help has never come easy for him. He has always been the one lifting others up, and now we’re coming together to lift him.
Since August 2025, Jule has been in and out of the hospital, with over 7 months spent continuously hospitalized, battling severe heart failure and chronic kidney failure. What began as a medical emergency has turned into a long and exhausting fight — including extended time in the ICU where every day brought uncertainty.
Recently, Jule underwent a major LVAD heart surgery.
By God’s grace, he made it through.
But the journey is far from over.
Where Things Stand Now
Jule is currently in a long and difficult recovery process.
• He has spent 7+ continuous months in the hospital
• He is recovering from major heart surgery
• He requires dialysis 3 times a week
• He is working daily to regain strength and stability
• His body is still healing and adjusting
There is progress — and we are grateful for every step forward.
But recovery like this takes time.
The Part People Don’t See
While Jule is fighting physically, the financial reality has become overwhelming.
• He has been unable to work due to his condition and doctor’s orders
• He is currently waiting on approval for financial assistance programs expected in the coming months
• Medical and living expenses continue to build
• Transportation alone costs $70+ per trip for ongoing treatment
And the hardest part?
The waiting:
• Waiting for approvals.
• Waiting for stability.
• Waiting for life to feel normal again.
Jule has been open about how heavy this has been — mentally, emotionally, and financially. As someone who has always been strong for others, this season has been especially difficult.
