‌Dear Family & Friends,
We are reaching out to all in a time of need to help purchase a New Handicap Accessible Vehicle for Daniel. He needs one as soon as possible, as his current car is in very bad condition. Currently, the car has over 140,000 miles, the ramp is not functional, left back door does not open, air conditioner only works up front and many more ongoing issues. The expenses to fix are too much to try to keep this car going.
Daniel is my brother who was in a diving accident over 5 years ago that left him a Quadriplegic. Currently he has no function from the chest down with minimal function in his upper arms. Although his physical abilities are minimal, he manages to keep going with a positive outlook on life daily. He is a very intelligent, ambitious guy that wants to continue with life and make the best of it. Dan is a full time college student soon to be graduating in December and going to Graduate School to pursue his studies.
Daniel pushes himself 200% everyday and never waists anytime. He is very busy with school, therapy, being a researcher at his University and a Peer Mentor for other Spinal Cord Injury Patients at the Rehab Facility where he once was a patient.
Those of you that know Daniel know that he is a fighter and has been fighting from day one to over come his Spinal Cord Injury. He has never given up and does everything in his power daily to accomplish his dreams!
It is very expensive to buy this new car so we are hoping all of you can open your hearts and help Daniel! This new car would mean so much to him! Please Pray for the success of this campaign and donate as much as you can. Every little bit counts to reach our goal.
