Stand with Matopo High School Students in Crisis

Dear Friends and Well wishers,

My name is Vezisizwe Bhebhe , a former student of Matopo.

I am reaching out to you in a time of urgent need for Matopo High School in Zimbabwe. Recently, tragedy struck as one of our beloved boys' hostels (dormitory) was ravaged by a devastating fire in the middle of the night. This hostel was not just a building; it was a home and a place of safety for many young students pursuing their education.

The fire has left a total of 52 boys without essential items such as school uniforms, clothes, blankets, school shoes, food, toiletries, stationery, backpacks, bedding, mattresses, and more. These are necessities that many of us take for granted but are now desperately needed to help these students rebuild their lives and continue their education.

Matopo High School, the first missionary school of Brethren in Christ Church Zimbabwe, has been a beacon of education and hope in communities in Zimbabwe for generations. Now, more than ever, we need your support to help these students recover from this devastating setback.
