The 8th grade will accomplish this goal by posting this on the go fund me website. Also this will be a hands on activity, that will require hard work, and dedication. The 8th grade will be buying our materials from Local construction department stores then taking it back to the school blacktop and constructing a tiny house. The tiny house will go to a homeless person in need of a sustainable housing.
We are raising money to buy supplies to build a tiny house that will be donated to a tiny house community for a homeless person.
We are 8th grade students at St. Therese Catholic Academy. We are faith-filled servant leaders who would like to do productive tasks within the community. We feel building this tiny house, though only minor in the housing crisis of Seattle, is a way to be more Christ-like in providing a home for someone in need.We are excited to grow as a community from this process, as it is a hands-on, learning experience. We are raising money to buy supplies to build a tiny house that will be donated to a tiny house community for a homeless person. “Homelessness is a serious problem in Seattle that is now very widespread and difficult to deal with.”

“I don’t know who the person we are helping out is, but I hope he or She enjoys the Shelter.”

“All are entitled to a house to live in, food to eat, and a safe secure community.”
“They are humans, so why treat them differently?”
“It could provide a community they can depend on.”
“I want them to share a meal around a table, discussing what they are thankful for, like I am fortunate enough to with my family.”
“Homelessness is an ongoing issue that society has become numb to.”
“Everyone is made in God’s image and deserves the same respect”
“It will give someone privacy.”
“It provides a dry place, and one they can shower in, which can better their chances of employment.”
“Building a tiny house also builds team working skills. And strengthens our bond with God by doing something for the poor.”
