St Mary Redcliffe lockdown support

Donation protected
Our five year old son Arthur goes to our local school, St Mary Redcliffe Primary in Bristol. It’s a lovely community spirited school, providing not just education but also emotional and practical support for their pupils, many of whom are vulnerable or the children of key workers . Today we had a Zoom with the Head, hearing about the plans for the kids still not able to attend school. Due to the nature of the site, it’s only safe for 90 of the 440 children to return to school at the moment. And I learnt today that the school own THREE laptops with cameras, meaning it is an impossible juggle to provide online learning for many children. Normally the PTFA hold a summer fair which raises around £2000, but sadly, not this year. So our school, like many others, is having an extremely difficult time. I had to do something and all I feel I can practically do right now is spread the word, and ask for help. I am extremely aware what a challenging time this is for so many but if you can help, in any way (perhaps you have an old laptop with camera you no longer use), please drop me a line, or donate through this go fund me page.  With love and wishes to you and yours during these extraordinary times.
