Jennifer Kenney has served as sexton at St. Thomas' Episcopal Church for 5 years. Jennifer fell 3 months ago and broke her leg and ankle, which have been reset and repaired with several pins and hardware. Then, while recovering from the fall, Jennifer suffered a stroke. She also has leukemia. In addition to cleaning weekly for the church, Jennifer cleans houses, and consequently has not been able to work--she is currently doing physical therapy. She is behind on medical bills, mortgage, and car payments, and is at risk of not getting her leukemia medication. She is scared and upset by all this, though she is determined to return to work. Jennifer is terrified by her debt and her ability to get back on solid financial ground; your donation will help Jennifer to be more optimistic about her future.
