Darius Bullock Is an Army Veteran who served during the Iraq/Afghanistan campaigns. He attends school at National Aviation Academy working towards his air-frame and power plant license. Darius wasn’t responding to phone calls or text messages. This was concerning to his class mates do to his complaints of fatigue and excessive vomiting. After 36hrs of not hearing from Darius they decided to conduct a wellness check along with the police department where he was found unconscious on his floor. It appears that Darius may have been diabetic and suffered from a diabetic coma do to Hyperglycemia. He is currently on a ventilator and receiving dialysis. A lot is still unknown of his condition and the circumstances that lead to this unfortunate event. Darius is heavily dependent on the post 9/11 GI bill to maintain his housing expenses and school payments. Due to his absence and the time needed to recover, he will lose the ability to receive housing allowance and will certainly make payments difficult in a time that is already strenuous. Students at NAA along with faculty are making this effort to raise funds for Darius and his K9 service companion “Liberty”. It is our goal to at least raise funds for his rent. Every one here at NAA humbly request your assistance relieving him of the financial burden that is certainly headed his way.
