David "Spider" Wilson's Fund

Donation protected
The sudden passing of David “Spider” Wilson has taken everyone by surprise.  He was a loving husband of 38 years, father to David Junior and friend to everyone who knew him.  David joined the Air Force in 1977, served for five years and joined Harris Corporation in 1986.  He was so excited for the opportunity that he rode his bike from Cocoa Beach to Palm Bay every day until he could purchase a vehicle.  He spent the next 33 years at the company working as a stock clerk, graphic artist and eventually an IT technician.

David’s passion was art.  Any time a project arose that required a talented hand, Spider was the man people reached out to.  He created posters for fundraisers, made displays for the zoo, decorated for holidays, drew portraits and volunteered with children in need.  His kindheartedness was felt by everyone around him, he was easy to talk to and always willing to listen - cool, calm and collected.

I have created a GoFundMe account to raise funds to help his wife, Kat Wilson, to pay for the numerous expenses associated with his passing. Please note that this is not a Harris initiative and we are not requesting or obligating contributions. Some have asked how to help and so I wanted to share this opportunity.
