Help South Shore Robotics Attend Competition

Help us go to an International Underwater Robotics (ROV) Competition!
The South Shore Robotics Club is a high school underwater robotics team based in Bridgewater, Nova Scotia. This after-school club is an inclusive team and accepts all students who are interested in joining, ensuring that the experience, regardless of age or ability, is an extremely positive one.
In our third year of development we are successful in being invited to represent Nova Scotia at the International MATE ROV Competition in Kingsport, Tennessee, USA. Our small team is very excited to be competing on the world stage! This is where we need your help.
The cost of the trip per student will be approximately $1500/student, plus we have to raise that for two chaperones (one male and one female) to join us. With only a month to fundraise, we decided to try this venue for your kind support and share our story with the world!
Please help our team raise the funds needed to go on this once in a lifetime trip to represent Nova Scotia and show our leadership in underwater robotics!
About the South Shore Robotics Club:
As a school based, non-profit organization we write multiple grant applications and fundraise for materials and to cover costs that we cannot obtain through community donation. Expensive materials such as our carbon fibre frame (thanks to STELIA North America Ltd), water for the small 12' outdoor pool (thanks to Eastern Lights Transport), and smaller items such as corrugated plastic (thanks to Pleasantville Signs) for props, tools, electronics, etc. are donated from community businesses and individuals.

Please note: "South Shore Robotics" is an after school, extra curricular robotics club led by the South Shore Regional Centre for Education (SSRCE) Instructional Coach for Technology, Byron Butt. All funds will be deposited in the Park View Education Centre school account and be reconciled by the SSRCE.
