My name is Lisamarie and i live in Claymont, delaware with my German Shepherd.
With the fall and winter arriving it makes survival so much harder for these animals, especially Mama Cats and there kittens
When temperatures drop it's hard for nursing mothers to produce milk.
Dehydration caused by cold not only weakens their bodies and reduces milk flow leaving the kittens vulnerable to malnutrition, they grow weak and this is a reality these animals face everyday and survival rate drops instantly.
These cats fight against nature, hunger and exhaustion without shelter or support.
So along side the joy and the deep sadness too, so many of these stray cats are looking for our help.
The cold truth is that they won't show us the pain, they go unseen and suffering and we never hear them when they cry out, so they go unheard.
Many people believe they don't want our help but that is not true at all, they are scared and afraid.
They won't cry for help in a language we understand, but if our hearts are truly open to seeing their distress, we will see it.
If we approach them with force, they see us as threats, not saviors.
What these beautiful animals need is patience.
What they respond to is love, not pressure. They may not have a voice to speak but they feel so much more than we realize..
None of these ferral cats asked for a home but through our daily feedings, our gentle presence and consistent care they learn to trust......
I had a mama cat come too me today on her own, not for food but for safety and I believe a home.
She showed me that love when given sincerely and selflessly is never wasted...
Love is a language without words and the only language these beautiful creatures understand, and through it every single day we become apart of their world and just like mama cat. If each and everyone of us show alittle kindness just by donating even one dollar to support
Even noticing the strays, together we can create a world where Compassion Lives On Every Street Corner and No Soul Will Ever Have To Suffer In Silence, Ever Again........
Place bowls of water outside you're house in a shaded area, where animals may walk by and refill it daily if you can,
It's Not Just Water, It's Survival
Encourage others too do the same.
Talk to you're kids to treat street animals just like you're own.
Please Donate For These Little Guys Cause There Waiting For You.....
Sincerely,
Lisamarie
