SORRY: A Short Film by Alex Getlin

Hello my beloved friends and family!

I have written and am starring in my first short film titled "SORRY." My co-director, Adam Schaller, and I are currently raising money for the production of this film with a total goal of $7,500

“Sorry” is a comedy about why women over-apologize.

It can be out of politeness, out of genuine sympathy, or as often experienced, an immediate response to feeling like an inconvenience. Every young female identifying person I know seems to have a complicated relationship to this word.

This film explores the apology born out of an ingrained female aversion to disrupting the peace: the "sorry" we say out of fear.

We are planning to release and submit it to national film festivals later this year.
