Solivagant- Short film Fundraiser

I'm Zach Anderson and I am a Film student in my final year of school, my crew and I are looking for funding for a short film set in the 1940s. We would use the funds we gather to ensure actors' airfare is covered, as well as purchasing props and costumes to ensure accuracy to the time period.

This short film will have a runtime of about 25 minutes. It depicts the mental health of a young British soldier in 1944 when he's separated from his troop. The film explores guilt and the mental toll that being a soldier can take specifically on a young man. The big picture is that we can bring the topic of men's mental health to a new genre of film. My crew and I have explored the topic of mental health in film before, with great success winning a first place award for the story “1/10” which explores aspects of men's mental health. This project gives us the opportunity to take some of those themes and bring them to a bigger stage.
