The Susan L. Slivka Scholarship

Susan L. Slivka has given to the Kennedy Community for 20+ years and this is our chance to give back in her honor.  Currently, there is a scholarship offering $500 for one academic year to a rising sophomore, junior or senior who performs on the Kennedy Catholic Theatre Stage.  Our goal, is to raise at least $2000 to add to the endowment.  So, if you have ever "forgotten your shoes" or "spoken backstage because you're talented enough" please please please donate to the Susan L. Slivka Scholarship Fund.  Any and all donations are welcome.

"Susan Slivka is an icon in the theatre program at Kennedy Catholic. For over 20 years, she has directed award-winning theatrical productions. Mrs. Slivka is dedicated to a high standard of excellence in performance in live theatre. She has served as “Mom” to multiple generations of Kennedy dramatists, hoping to instill in them a love of theatre. In addition, she makes it her mission to tirelessly teach them the value of loving and giving service to others. In recognition of the Slivka years of devotion, the Kennedy Catholic Theatre Stage is named in honor of Susan and her husband, Jac. They are both members of the Kennedy Catholic Torch Society; friends and alumni of Kennedy Catholic, who live the mission of the school.
