Skydive for Living Resources
Donation protected
On Friday, July 28th, my son and I jumped out of a plane to benefit an incredible local organization, Living Resources Foundation , based in Albany, NY. 13,500 feet from plane to ground. Neither I or my son had jumped before.
Coolest part? This jump raised $7k money for an incredible organization, Living Resources, that provides career, educational, and vocational opportunities for more than 1,200 disabled individuals in one or more than 14 programs throughout the Capital/Saratoga region of New York in 11 counties.
From services for brain injury and deaf persons to employment and residential programs for the disabled, Living Resources does a ton for the handicapped and I believe that it’s time to say thanks for everything they do. My son, Tim feels the same way: “Living Resources is a wonderful organization, and after the miracles they work day to day, I really want to give back”.
While we already jumped, my son and I have decided to keep going with the fundraiser until August 12th, 2017. We want to reach our goal of $10k and continue to spread awarness for Living Resources.
We embraced the opportunity of a life time with open arms. It was just a little scary (at least for me), but now it is time to keep moving forward!
Want photos, video or have questions? Please feel free to reach out to me!
