**EDIT: My fundraiser was on hold due to the loss of my twin brother on May 31st. Now it is time to register for these courses and get this done!**

My name is Vanessa, and I am a single mother, currently in between jobs, business owner, and dedicated student at the University of Pennsylvania. I am seeking your support as I endeavor to complete the final SIX courses required for my bachelor's degree. I currently hold a certificate in Social Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, pursuing my second cert in Org Culture & Collaboration (which is the requirement for this degree).

My Journey

I am and have been a lifelong learner. It was not until about 2 years ago where I realized what I really wanted to do with my life….eventually HR.

Primary parenthood, full-time employment, and rigorous academic coursework has been juggling act and rewarding. My current GPA at Penn is 3.4 (sure to increase once I complete my current course). My life experiences have not only enriched my education but have also prepared me for a meaningful career ahead of me.
