We are creating a GoFundMe fundraiser for Sister Imane Said and Brother Omar Abdul-Karim.

Sister Imane Said, age 33, from Morocco, living in Lynn, passed away a week ago. Sister Imane was disabled since birth. Her mother reached out to Al-Marhama yesterday and informed of her passing. Sister Imane father is also disabled and is currently in a nursing home. They have no means to cover the cost of the Janaza.

Brother Omar Abdul-Karim, age 63, from Fall River, is a convert to Islam. Brother Omar is homeless and does not have any family. Although he has not passed away yet, he is currently on life support and is brain dead.

We will update you on their Janaza Prayers and Burials when available.

We have set up a donation page online to help cover the Janaza expenses for both Sister Imane and Brother Omar. Please donate generously.

As always, surplus donations received will go to the Al-Marhama Needy Fund to help future families in need.

O Allah, forgive them and have mercy upon them, excuse them and pardon them, and cleanse them with water, snow, and ice, and purify them of sin as a white robe is purified of filth. O Allah, exchange their home for a better home, and their family for a better family. Admit them in Paradise as their ultimate home, protect them from the punishment of the grave and the torment of the fire. O Allah, grant patience to their family and friends, and provide them with strength and strong iman to recover from this difficult loss. Ameen.
