Well I just like to start off from the beginning I was in my addiction for many years I used drugs and I also drank alcohol. Today I'm in recovery I have 899 days clean. Well now my past is catching up to me I was a bartender a few years ago at Lenny's bar and whenever I left one night I wrecked into another vehicle. Let's just say that I don't live like that anymore I am a single mom of twins I have my kids with me full time I no longer use drugs or drink. I attend NA meetings I also attend Celebrate Recovery. I work at Chestnut doing outreach showing people that recovery is possible. I am asking for some help I have to give the secretary of State a down payment and I can make monthly payments every month to keep my driver's license from being suspended. I have to have my driver's license in order to work. I drive the company vehicle everyday doing outreach. If I do not have A payment agreement made by August 8th they will suspend my license. This takes a lot for me to ask for help but I love my job and I do not want to lose it. On top of that I have twin boys that I'm trying to raise and take care of I'm barely getting by paycheck to paycheck so that the boys and I have everything that we need. Not only do I need a car for work but I need a car so that my kids can get back and forth to daycare and to doctor's appointments. I also need my job so that I can continue to provide for my kids. Any money that is donated to me for this I promise is going to the secretary of State so that my license does not get suspended. I am even going to show a receipt That all the money is going to the secretary of State. I know that I am wrong for what I did in the past and I am only trying to make things right. I have the paperwork from the secretary of state of what I owe. I can make a down payment of 2,500 and make monthly payments of $250 It's very hard for me to ask help from the public but I'm left with no choice. I've made a lot of mistakes iny past and ready to start making my amends.
