LATE NIGHT EMERGENCY: URGENT HELP NEEDED FOR SICK CAT SHOT BY PELLET GUN 




***Update 9/16 X-ray show cat was SHOT by a PELLET GUN  and still has pellets in his body****




Just rescued this guy from the MIDDLE  of a BUSY STREET . He was so weak and lethargic he couldn’t move to get out of the way of oncoming traffic  and was almost hit by a car. Many people slowed down but NOT one person  stopped to help. I only saw him because the car in front of me slowed down. 

I scooped him up in one of my scrub tops and drove him to the nearest EMERGENCY VET HOSPITAL. 




Poor guy is very sick and the vet thinks he has Calicivirus. He is not neutered and not microchipped either so we will be taking him under our 501c3 Nonprofit Animal Rescue. 




I want to give him a fighting chance and see how he does being hospitalized for 24 hours but the estimate for that is between $2300 to $2700. (Estimate posted below in comments) So any help with getting him the care he needs would be greatly appreciated!
