Two nights ago, the Shore Parkway Jewish Center was vandalized and destroyed in an anti-semitic attack. We can't imagine any other motive, as our synagogue is involved in supporting community events and houses a pre-school for children of all backgrounds. Besides causing massive property damage, the perpetrator caused hurt to many of the older members, who remember a time when anti-semitism was widespread. If possible, please donate any amount that you can in the following days. A lot of the older members rely on our synagogue for meals and social activities. We are deeply saddened that something like that can hit close to home and we hope that you keep the Jewish community in your prayers.
