Shirley Leis Memorial Fund

Shirley Leis worked at Toshiba for over 30 years.  She was a very caring and generous soul, always willing to help anyone that asked her and ready to thoroughly explain any process for which she was an expert.  She was very passionate about making sure her work was done correctly and thoroughly, and did everything she could to train others, so that she wouldn't have to re-do their work.  

Shirley put everything she had into her family and her career.  Even through the chemotherapy she would call us and thank us for allowing her to continue to work, because it gave her purpose to get out of bed every day. In fact, she was helping us more than we were helping her. Shirley's continuous optimizm and and enthusasm has been far above most peoples' even before she knew about the cancer.  Even with her illness, she remained a bright spark in all of our lives.  

We have created this gofundme campaign to do what we can to contribute to Shirley's family at their time of loss.  Our goal is $3,000.  The monies will go towards the expenses related to final hospice bills, transporting Shirley to the East Coast, and funeral home expenses.
