Via our nonprofit wing, the Himalayan Development Foundation, owner and director Karma Sherpa will direct resources to get relief straight to those communities devastated by the floods.

The only admin cost we have is the 3% Gofundme processing fee. SMA was founded by Karma Sherpa, who grew up in the village of Taksindu. From his home in Colorado, Karma works with his brother Ngima in Nepal to run treks and our annual medical mission. Giving back to the local communities they come from isn't a side project for us, it's the whole point. Giving back, being of service is at the heart of everything SMA does.

Every dollar raised goes directly to HDF and through them, our team in Nepal will get food, shelter, and aid to those who need it. Because SMA is a small organization, I'm running this fundraiser under my own name so the money can move fast, with nothing held up along the way.
