Help us, keep my mom fighting!
Donation protected
September 15th was my three year olds birthday and we all noticed my mom wasn't feeling good, ofcourse the next day I (her daughter) took her to the urgent care center and they had her tested for covid and done some testing because she had been running a fever, she tested negative and said she may need some other testing did so and sent her home, two days later my dad takes her to the ER because the pain is to much and the fevers are getting out of hand. After emergency surgery and taking alot of blood my mom was septic, has Necrotizing Fasciitis, which is a flesh eating bacteria, and pneumonia. The infection and bacteria has spread to parts of her colon, to which she has lost a good bit of, her bladder, and part of her spine, my mom will be having her 7th surgery Tuesday Oct. 6th, still trying to fight this off, the doctors told her and us they have no idea how she is even alive and with us at this moment, she has a catheter and a colostomy bag that hopefully will be reversible, if we can get this infection to stop spreading. Its now been weeks of her fighting and trying to get through this going through so much, 6 surgerys, hypoberic oxygen therapy, My mom has been through hell and back and she deserves the world after all this, and sadly its not over yet. None of us likes to ask for help but there's no way we are gonna make it through these medical bills and everything by ourself, but we will try to do what we can to keep my mom alive, to watch her grand baby grow up, watch her 18 year old daughter start her life with college and first jobs, to watch me finish school and get a good career and take care of my daughter. To spending time with her husband James Smart whose been by her side for over 30 years, who has not stopped being there for her and working to job, while I work one and take care of the house. We don't usually ask for help, but we would greatly appreciate anything at all. The thought means alot.
